December 18 2008 as the temperature drops to the low 30's the weekly protest/ vigil (Thursday at high noon) continue outside of the Portland office of House District 3 Representative Earl Blumenauer.
The protest vigil is "to encourage & remind him (Earl) that his constituent's want accountability and an honest and forthright presidency. By Earl Blumenauer refusing (and continuing to ignore the lawlessness) to hold the Bush administration accountable for their human rights violations and for their disrespect on holding-up (protecting) the US Constitution as our honored "law of our land" ...we (protesters) are outside his office (weekly) showing the world we (as individual's and citizens for justice) are displeased and outraged that Earl Blumenauer will tolerate and allow these violations. The group holding this protest will be here till Jan 20 (2008)when the Liar in Chief steps down from his stolen position.

16 Activists / Concerned Citizens / Individuals for Justice met in Solidarity at 7:00 am at a coffee shop on SE 82nd street in Portland Oregon. (July 25 2008)
As we gathered on the west coast at this early hour, for at the same time (EST 10am) there were others with the same concerns gathering at the Judiciary Committee Meeting in Washington DC. They were holding testimonies regarding the need for Impeachment Hearings with John Conyers overseeing the proceedings
In respect and solidarity with the Veterans for Peace local Chapter 72 whose National President was a speaker at this meeting, and all the other activists who are working for Justice and compliance with our Constitution. I filmed two short clips from the two hours I was there at the coffee shop.

This marks the one solid year of weekly protesting for accountability and justice outside (and inside) our Congressman's Earl Blumenauer's office
This skit pokes fun at the obvious facts that the USA accept Bush's tolerance and accept that Bush and the Democrat-controlled-Congress will allow torture and human right lawbreaking to continue. The skit also pokes fun at the House Rep in Dist #3 here in Oregon who finds it not illegal or morally wrong to let the Bush administration continue doing what ever they want in-spite of written laws and our Constitution of the United States?

Olympia -- Well over 100 people filled Hearing Room 2 and an overflow room in the Cherberg Building January 17th to hear statements in support of Washington State resolution SJM 8016, a request for impeachment investigations into actions by President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Only a handful of people got to speak but those who did spoke eloquently on their desire to see the Constitution restored and the powers abrogated by this Presidency not become a dangerous precedent for our democracy.

January 1, 2008, Pasadena: At approximately 7:15am four of us began our walk along the Rose Parade route in advance of the parade. We held banners and signs calling for impeachment and urged people to text 30644 to support the impeachment of Dick Cheney.
(A block or so behind us was a contingent of people with signs protesting China’s human rights atrocities and its hosting the upcoming Olympics. A float celebrating the Beijing Olympics would be in the parade. This group had an impressive presence with many people and signs visible.)
The members of our group agreed that there was significant positive response to our message as well as considerable negative reactions and blank stares. However, some of us were rather positive in our final analyses, while I tilted toward the negative. Full Report from the Newswire: ATTACK OF THE ARCHIE BUNKER CLONES! We welcome all who want accountability, impeachment and an end to this horror called the war/occupation and now genocide of Iraq. We want justice!
This action is happening all over the 50 States, we are not alone. The people of the United States want real hearings exposing what happened before, during and after 9/11. Three senior citizens were arrested in front of Representative Earl Blumenauer's office building on Thursday, December 20, the twenty-first week in a row that protestors have called for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney. Sara Graham, Joe Walsh, also known as The Lone Vet and dressed as "Santa" and Marilyn Pike were arrested after police earnestly tried to convince the group to move.
The Lone Vet initiated the protests because he feels that it is the responsibility of American citizens to challenge the illegality of the Bush administration. "George Bush has caused me to be ashamed to be an American; Earl Blumenauer has caused me to be ashamed to be a democrat. We are willing to risk arrest to send a message that Bush is the one who should face a judge."
