We, the people of New Orleans who have been fighting the proposed demolition of public housing, have issued a national call-out for people to come to our city beginning December 10 to help block the bulldozers from demolishing most of public housing here. At risk are over 5000 units of public housing, units that residents have been denied the right to return to since Katrina. The agenda is clear: the ethnic and class cleansing of the City of New Orleans, using Katrina as a pretext to accomplish this.
